HISTORY

Shiatsu Massage

Like acupuncture, Shiatsu stimulates the body’s vital energy (known as Qi or Ki). Shiatsu is a calmand relaxing massage, yet dynamic in effect; the body begins to re-adjust itself and healing takes place. The receiver is supported to become more aware of their body/mind as an integrated whole, on either a conscious or subconscious level. They become aware of areas of tension or weakness on either a physical or emotional level and through this process, healing occurs. You can remain fully clothed during this treatment.

OTHERS EXPERIENCED...

“I came to Alex for what had been diagnosed as Piriformis syndrome.
I had serious pain at the top of my right thigh and lower back right side. i was unable to sleep on my right side or on my back, nearly impossible to  sit down.
I received deep tissue massage from Alejandro. Before the massage, Alejandro explained what was going on in my body and how he could help me undo what was causing me so much pain. He told me it was going to cause me a certain amount of discomfort, but it was necessary to get to the nub of the problem quickly.
By the end of the first session, i already felt a great deal better, with a lot more mobility. I had two more sessions, the following two weeks. I am now back running, with no pain at all. The problem cured.
I would recommend Alex to any one. He has a gentle professional manner, and clearly knows his stuff."

"In 2004 I broke my back in an accident. I fractured L1,L2 and L3. This was one of the most painful experiences of my life and had me immobile for some weeks. I can walk and run again, luckily with no mayor impairment except that I was left with chronic back pain. However it has taken me years to get to the point where I am now. I have been to numerous traditional Kinesiologists and doctors but had no major results, until 2010 when I met Alejandro and started treatment with him for one year. I used to have excruciating back pain at that times. My back until that point felt like a stone plate, my lower back area was very stiff and inflexible with little movement ability.
Alejandro started working on me using Tui-Na and acupuncture, the results are incredible. Most of the tension in my back is gone my back and lower back area is more flexible, I am more able to do difficult Yoga positions, and most importantly my back no longer hurts like it used to. Occasionally it hurts but nowhere near as much as before. I am deeply grateful to Alejandro and his work. To me he is the BEST Massage therapist I have come across so far and I recommend him highly.”
