HISTORY
Acupuncture is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is being successfully practiced for more than 3,000 years. It's a multi-disciplinary complementary medicine system, based on Eastern philosophy and designed for living a longer, happier, and healthier life. Its guiding principle is to promote balance and harmony.
According to TCM, good health depends on our life force called Qi. When we have abundant Qi and it flows unobstructed, we have plenty of energy and are less likely to get ill. When our Qi is depleted, obstructed or stuck, we are more likely to fall sick. According to TCM, when Qi is blocked, pain and disease develop.
Acupuncture needles are known to remove Qi blockages in the body, reducing pain, improving energy levels and assisting in the healing process.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The session starts with a general health consultation and establishing of client's needs and health or wellness goals. The procedure itself is a safe and, in most cases, completely painless application of acupuncture needles to the surface of the skin. If any discomfort or any concerns occur, acupuncture needles can be safely removed at any time. Acupuncture is often combined with massage therapy, heat therapy, cupping. A qualified lifestyle and nutritional advice including vitamins, supplements and herbs is included.

"I was suffering from horrible back and neck pains due to my job, also pins and needles in my arms and hands, it was awful, I was really scared. Alejandro did acupuncture, deep tissue and cupping and within just two weeks I noticed an amazing and significant improvement.
